February 28, 2018, the Kingdom of Lesotho – The Deputy Prime Minister of Kingdom of Lesotho, Honorable Mr. Monyane Moleleki welcomed a new high-level meeting with representatives of Central Asia Group (CAG) Mr. Victor Degouveia and his spouse Mrs. Carmel Degouveia, where parties discussed the new phase of bilateral cooperation between the Government of Lesotho Kingdom and CAG in three key development sectors.
According to overall conclusions, the engagement of CAG in Lesotho until present was appreciated and proved its worth for Kingdom of Lesotho as forward-looking and effective, and shall remain in the key development sectors such as energy, agriculture and employment creation.
As an inseparable part of development activities and usual working approach of CAG, the capacity building component will provide opportunity for strengthening the local capacities and ensuring future economic sustainability.
“This visit renewed our belief in strong willingness of the Government of Lesotho, and particularly Honorable Mr. Moleleki for lifting up the life quality of Lesotho people, which inspires and engages us for maximal investments in the development of this beautiful country”, – noted Mr. Victor Degouveia after the meeting.
As mentioned during the meeting, a round of high level meetings between Honorable Mr. Moleleki with CAG Johannesburg, South Africa will take place during next period.
In this regard, the CAG team will conduct a comprehensive Resource Review and elaboration of new Strategic Plan upon next flow of wide and detailed discussions of further scope of work and business model, which aimed the better life of Lesotho people.
